Is this job info correct?

💡 We are looking for a Business Intelligence & Automation owner with a strong business- and ownership-driven mindset to join our team in Vienna or Berlin. You own our entire BI stack and our internal automations end to end. As a key partner to Product, CS, Sales and Finance, you turn business questions into trustworthy answers, build the automations that keep the company running, and own the data behind our reporting. Why Flinn? We are building a truly exceptional culture: While many companies claim to have a great culture, we invite you to discover what truly sets ours apart — visit our career page, speak with our team, listen to our founders' podcast, or experience it first-hand during the interview process. Make a Meaningful Impact: Your work at Flinn contributes directly to solutions that improve people's health and lives by making high-quality health products accessible for everyone. Experienced, well-funded, highly professional: As well-funded startup veterans, we know how to sustain long-term business health and success, ensuring an environment for continuous personal growth. What's in it for you? Join a fast-growing, well-funded European startup backed by experienced founders and investors. Be part of a mission-driven health-tech company whose work directly improves people's lives. Take end-to-end ownership of core operational processes that keep the company running. Play a key role in scaling Flinn , shaping how operations work as we grow. Work in a high-trust, low-ego environment with autonomy and clear ownership. Enjoy flexible working hours , remote flexibility, and regular team time in Vienna. Receive one of the most employee-friendly equity packages , including fair vesting terms and profit-sharing. Grow in a professional, high-standard environment that supports long-term development. Your contributions to our journey: Own and build the entire BI infrastructure and drive the architecture decisions — pipelines, data warehouse, dbt transformations (Omni, BigQuery, Fivetran). Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Sales and Finance — anticipate their needs and turn open questions into trustworthy answers. Own product event tracking (PostHog, Engineering), closely with Product, Customer Success and Engineering — implement the events in the product and set the naming standards and QA, so we can measure adoption and the success of features. Build data transformations using DBT & define and prioritize the BI Roadmap. Proactively surface the insights hidden in our data and enable our go-to-market team. Own the data and safeguard data quality behind our financial reporting, keep our single source of truth for ARR up to date in HubSpot. Build internal automations (n8n, Make, scripting, AI) from removing manual work (invoicing, supplier forms) to building AI agents that act as co-workers — a sales co-pilot, a system that proactively flags underperforming features Run BI as a practice: a clear request and prioritisation process and enablement so teams can answer their own questions. 💡 This role is best suited for someone motivated to have a steep learning curve, work on the entire BI Stack, has entrepreneurial thinking and wants to answer complicated data questions. What you need to be successful: Experience (BI/Analytics): 3+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, BI or analytics engineering — ideally with automation exposure and in a SaaS scale-up where you owned reporting/data end to end (not only as part of a large team). SQL + dbt: Expert-level SQL and dbt skills, plus a solid grasp of a modern warehouse/BI stack and product event tracking. Coding & AI tools: Comfortable scripting in Python/JS and putting modern AI tools to work in your daily workflow. Dashboards & decision-making: You can build visualizations and dashboards (e.g. Looker, Omni) that teams actually use to make decisions. Automation mindset: Hands-on experience with n8n/Make, APIs and AI-assisted workflows. Business thinking: Connects data to decisions and understands what drives each department. Communication & stakeholder management: Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders. Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 💡 It's a bonus if you've worked with our stack: BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, Omni, Segment, PostHog. Attributes we are looking for: An owner-operator - sets the agenda, drives decisions and sees work through to the last 10%. Proactive and self-directed - comfortable without a playbook. Highly analytical and reliable - sanity-checks by default; smart and accurate work. Sharp under load - juggles and prioritises several projects by impact and urgency, and manages time well. A sparring partner - challenges constructively. Stakeholder-fluent - builds trust across Product, CS, Sales and Finance. 🇪🇺 At this stage of our company, we can only accept applications from people who are based in Europe with either European citizenship, an active working visa or being self-employed and joining us as a full-time contractor (Except for US-based roles). We strive to remove barriers, eliminate discrimination, and ensure equal opportunity through our transparent recruitment process. We are open to all groups of people without regard to age, color, national origin, race, religion, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital status or any other legally protected characteristic.
