Role Summary

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will transform complex healthcare, financial, and operational data into intuitive dashboards, reporting solutions, and actionable analytical insights.

You will work closely with Data Engineering, Product, and Executive teams to develop robust data models and reporting solutions that support business decisions and deliver valuable intelligence to our healthcare clients.

You will also play an important role in analyzing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) metrics such as claims denials, Days in AR, clean claim rates, and payer performance, translating complex data into practical insights that help optimize healthcare operations. JD-Business Intelligence Develo

Primary Responsibilities

• Dashboard Design & Data Visualization: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and other modern BI tools.
• Data Modelling & BI Development: Develop scalable and high-performing semantic models, star schemas, tabular models, and reporting solutions.
• SQL & Data Transformation: Write complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and DAX measures to integrate and analyze data from multiple healthcare and business sources.
• Business & Client Analytics: Analyze RCM and operational trends, identify business opportunities and bottlenecks, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize dashboard performance, query execution, semantic models, and database resource utilization to ensure an efficient user experience.
• Data Quality & Validation: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, consistency, and reliability of BI reports and dashboards through rigorous testing and validation.
• Data Security & Governance: Implement and maintain appropriate Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Row-Level Security (RLS) while supporting data privacy and confidentiality requirements.

Job Requirements

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.

Experience:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence development, data analysis, or reporting engineering.
• Proven experience designing and deploying complex, interactive enterprise dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with healthcare IT, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), insurance analytics, or financial reporting is a strong advantage. JD-Business Intelligence Develo

Technical Competencies:

• Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service).
• Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Advanced T-SQL and experience with stored procedures, views, CTEs, and user-defined functions.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse design, Star/Snowflake schemas, and Data Marts.
• Experience with SSIS, SSAS, and multidimensional data models.
• Strong knowledge of query and dashboard performance optimization.
• Understanding of Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures and modern data ingestion patterns.
• Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS) and BI governance. JD-Business Intelligence Develo

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Python skills for data manipulation, ETL automation, or analytics.
• Experience with Git/GitLab, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and automated BI deployment.
• Familiarity with metadata management, data catalogs, and data lineage.
• Healthcare IT, RCM, HIS, or Clinical Analytics experience is strongly preferred. JD-Business Intelligence Develo

Certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), or Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) would be an advantage. JD-Business Intelligence Develo
