Role Description The Business Intelligence Manager will lead the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making. In this part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with some work-from-home flexibility, the manager will gather requirements from stakeholders, translate business needs into data models, and develop dashboards and reports. Day-to-day tasks include managing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, optimizing data warehousing structures, and selecting appropriate BI tools and visualizations. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting insights to leadership, and recommending improvements to metrics, KPIs, and reporting processes. The Business Intelligence Manager will help establish best practices in analytics and contribute to building a data-informed culture for client organizations.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Experience in data modeling and data warehousing, including designing schemas and optimizing data structures for reporting.
- Hands-on proficiency with business intelligence tools and dashboard development, such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Background in building and managing BI solutions for SaaS, AI, Web3, or technology-focused environments is highly beneficial.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and basic SQL or other query languages.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present findings clearly.
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage part-time schedules, and coordinate with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
