Business Line CFO | M&A, Expansion, Full P&L | Brussels

A Finance Director reports on the expansion. A business line CFO shapes where it goes next. This role is the step between the two.

Our partner is an international pharma group with a strong presence across Europe, growing through acquisitions. It runs as a network of autonomous business lines with an entrepreneurial culture. One of its core business lines is now reinforcing its financial leadership. From Brussels, you partner with the operational leaders and report into the network leadership, with responsibility for finance, controlling and the supporting functions across several countries.

Your impact as Business Line CFO

• Shape the mid-term strategy of the business line with the operational leaders: site footprint, new countries, expansion and services portfolio
• Lead the financial side of acquisitions, from due diligence through restructuring and integration of newly acquired sites
• Own budgeting, financial reporting and controlling across the business line, and oversee headcount, KPIs and operational performance
• Define and monitor the transfer pricing models of the business line
• Drive sourcing and standardization strategies that deliver structural savings across the perimeter
• Lead, coach and develop the finance and support teams across HR, IT, Marketing and Internal Consulting, and manage succession planning for the leadership pipeline

Your profile as Business Line CFO

• Master in business administration, finance, engineering or chemistry, MBA is a plus
• Maximum 15 years of experience
• Fluent English, additional languages are a strong plus
