About the Role:
AEI LAW PC is seeking a sharp and driven Business Litigation Attorney with first chair experience to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. If you thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment and are ready to grow your career with a dynamic firm, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of business litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial, appeal, and post-judgement collections
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents
- Conduct depositions, discovery, and legal research on business disputes
- Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and case management
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations and arbitrations
- Appear in state and federal courts on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with partners and associates on multi-faceted commercial cases
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing
- 7+ years of experience in business or commercial litigation as first chair
- Strong courtroom presence and oral advocacy skills
- Proficiency in drafting motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Experience with contract disputes, business torts, or partnership disputes preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously
