We are seeking a General Manager with deep expertise in the food service industry, particularly in personal chef services or catering. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully run and scaled a food business and is passionate about operations, customer experience, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee & Grow Business Operations

• Manage the day-to-day operations of Eat Cook Joy, ensuring seamless execution of personal chef services.

• Develop and implement growth strategies to scale the business while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, chefs, and food suppliers.

Chef & Team Management

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of highly skilled personal chefs.

• Develop chef onboarding and performance standards to maintain exceptional service quality.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Client Experience & Business Development

• Oversee customer relations and retention strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

• Implement marketing and sales initiatives to attract new clients and expand brand awareness.

• Develop service packages and pricing strategies tailored to different client needs.

Financial & Operational Management

• Manage budgets, pricing, and profit margins to ensure financial sustainability.

• Optimize operational workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Utilize technology and data to enhance service delivery and client experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

✔ 10+ years running or managing a personal chef business, catering service, or high-end food service company.

✔ Proven track record of scaling a food business while maintaining quality.

✔ Deep understanding of Texas food safety laws & regulations.

✔ Strong leadership skills with the ability to hire, train, and manage chefs & staff.

✔ Business acumen with expertise in operations, marketing, and financial management.

✔ Excellent client relations skills, able to work with high-end clientele and deliver top-tier service.

✔ Must be based in Texas (preferably Austin).
