Position Overview
The Business Operations Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and project coordination support to multiple business leaders across the organization. This role serves as a central point of coordination for business processes, reporting, communications, documentation, and operational activities that enable teams to execute efficiently and achieve strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations Support
- Assist with the development, tracking, and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
- Support leadership in organizing business reviews, planning sessions, and team activities.
- Maintain shared files, records, and business documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and help ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist in documenting and improving business processes and operational workflows.
- Handle administrative and operational tasks that support day-to-day business activities.
Project & Program Coordination
- Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Support proposal, contract, and business development activities as needed.
- Maintain action item logs and follow up with team members to ensure progress on key initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, reports, summary documents, and business correspondence.
- Coordinate special projects and initiatives assigned by leadership.
Communication & Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between leaders, employees, clients, and external partners.
- Foster professional communication and collaboration across teams.
- Support company meetings, workshops, training sessions, and events.
- Help ensure important information is communicated effectively and consistently throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in administrative support, operations, project coordination, or business support roles.
- Experience supporting multiple teams or departments.
- Experience in government contracting, construction, engineering, professional services, or related industries.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, or contract management systems.

Compensation
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
