In this 6-month role with a target start date of 1 December 2026, you will report directly to the Head of Business Operations and support day-to-day operations across HR, procurement, IT, finance, and office administration, while helping improve internal systems and processes as the company grows. This is an exciting opportunity for a business-minded individual who enjoys broad responsibilities, hands-on work, and contributing to the operational backbone of a fast-scaling startup.

WHO WE ARE

UNISERS AG is a young, vibrant startup born from ETH Zurich, armed with revolutionary technology to tackle one of the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry: contamination control. We are scaling rapidly to bring our solutions to market, and we're looking for talented individuals to join us on this journey.

TASKS

  • HR Administration: Coordinate timesheet and vacation approvals with managers, generate HR reports, and support employee onboarding and offboarding. Conduct initial applicant screening and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and team members.
  • Business Systems & Process Improvement: Maintain internal systems and tools, keeping company information organized, accessible, and up to date. Help improve everyday workflows and support workplace improvements, office expansion, and other operational projects as the company grows.
  • Procurement & Inventory Management: Process incoming mail and invoices, match order confirmations and packing slips with internal records, and purchase standard parts and consumables. Maintain inventory and supplier data, support annual inventory counts, and help implement a rolling inventory count process.
  • IT & Finance Operations: Coordinate routine IT requests with our external IT partner, support user access and software/device management, and assist with ERP selection, rollout, data setup, and bookkeeping-related tasks.
  • Office Administration: Support day-to-day office operations, vendor coordination, workplace upkeep, and team events.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business or a related field; a commercial apprenticeship (KV) or equivalent practical experience is also welcome.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other business software; interest in ERP systems is a plus.
  • Well-organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong ownership across multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable in a startup environment with a broad scope and changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.

WHY JOIN US

  • Play a key role in shaping the future of a young and innovative company with exciting growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with a passionate and multidisciplinary team that takes pride in its work.
  • Enjoy flexible work arrangements, including home office options and adaptable working hours.
  • Work in a modern, well-equipped office with access to a workshop, clean room, and laboratories.
  • Benefit from on-site amenities, including parking, fitness facilities, and childcare services.
