Job Purpose
The Business Process Analyst is responsible for transforming operational data into accessible reporting, meaningful insights, and scalable business solutions for ACI’s Professional Services organization. This role serves as a reporting and analytics specialist for the Professional Services Operations team, partnering with stakeholders to understand reporting and automation requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.

The Business Process Analyst will play a central role in modernizing the organization’s reporting environment by converting point-in-time Excel and PowerPoint reporting into more dynamic, self-service Power BI dashboards. The role requires strong hands-on Power BI expertise, practical experience using AI tools for reporting and automation, and the analytical judgment to help stakeholders interpret data and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting, Analytics & Business Insights

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve operational reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using Power BI.
• Convert existing Excel and PowerPoint reporting into scalable, user-friendly, and increasingly self-service Power BI dashboards.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, performance indicators, and opportunities for improvement.
• Go beyond presenting data by helping stakeholders understand what the information means and how it can support business decisions.
• Define and maintain reporting metrics that provide visibility into business and operational performance.
• Validate reporting outputs and support the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of information presented to stakeholders.

• Develop and manage a reporting roadmap based on business priorities and stakeholder requirements.

AI-Enabled Reporting & Automation

• Apply Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or comparable AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, analysis, documentation, and automation activities.
• Identify reporting and operational activities that can be simplified or automated.
• Translate automation opportunities into practical solutions that improve efficiency and reduce repetitive manual work.
• Use AI responsibly while maintaining appropriate human review, data quality, confidentiality, and governance standards.

• Evaluate existing reporting workflows and recommend improvements that increase speed, consistency, usability, and scalability.

Business Requirements & Technical Translation

• Partner with stakeholders across Professional Services and Operations to understand reporting, analytics, and automation needs.
• Gather, clarify, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into reporting solutions, technical specifications, dashboards, and automation opportunities.
• Develop solutions iteratively by presenting initial outputs, collecting stakeholder feedback, and refining deliverables.
• Communicate technical and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Build effective working relationships across geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.

Data Sources, Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Work with data extracted from systems such as Jira, Salesforce, and Oracle to support reporting and analysis.
• Become familiar with the organization’s data sources, reporting processes, and operational priorities.
• Evaluate existing reporting and business processes and recommend improvements.
• Support the documentation and implementation of reporting standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Participate in cross-organizational initiatives that promote consistent reporting, data interpretation, and process adoption.
• Contribute to Root Cause Analysis and continuous-improvement activities where reporting and analytics can help identify underlying issues.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of related experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, business analysis, process analysis, or a comparable role.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude, in reporting, analysis, automation, or related business activities.
• Experience gathering business requirements and converting them into reporting or technical solutions.
• Experience analyzing business or operational data and explaining findings to stakeholders.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 conversational or higher).

Required Technical Capabilities

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including the ability to develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions.
• Practical experience using Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or comparable AI-enabled tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
• Ability to work with reporting inputs from multiple systems and data sources.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with data from Jira, Salesforce, Oracle, or comparable enterprise platforms.
• Experience migrating manual or point-in-time reporting into automated or self-service dashboards.
• Experience supporting a global, matrixed, operations, technology, consulting, or Professional Services organization.
• Experience identifying and implementing reporting or workflow automation opportunities.

• Familiarity with process improvement, process documentation, or Root Cause Analysis practices.

This is a hybrid position based in Bogota, Colombia. Minimal travel may be required and could be domestic or international.
