About the Role:

Motive is seeking a Business Strategy & Operations Specialist to support GTM Operations through Jira dashboard management, ticket hygiene, and operational reporting. You will maintain dashboards, filters, queues, and reporting views that provide visibility into request volume, ownership, aging, priorities, blockers, and delivery progress. This execution-focused role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working with systems, workflows, and structured data.

This is an Islamabad-based hybrid role aligned with U.S. Eastern Time hours, with at least 3 days of in-office presence required each week.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain Jira dashboards, filters, queues, subscriptions, access, and documentation.
  • Build reporting views for backlog, aging, workload, status, priorities, and throughput.
  • Review tickets for accurate information, ownership, priority, routing, and status.
  • Identify and follow up on stale, duplicate, blocked, unassigned, or incorrectly routed tickets.
  • Prepare recurring Jira updates for team meetings and stakeholder reviews.
  • Perform basic QA on dashboard data and ticket fields.
  • Document processes and identify opportunities for standardization or automation.
  • Partner with analysts, managers, requestors, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational visibility.

What We're Looking For:

  • 0–2 years of experience in business operations, sales operations, project coordination, reporting, or a data-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, ticketing systems, project-management tools, or workflow platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
  • Strong Google Sheets or Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, lookups, and basic data validation.
  • Clear communication, strong follow-through, and ability to manage recurring deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Jira dashboards, JQL, workflows, issue types, statuses, priorities, labels, and permissions.
  • Basic understanding of metrics such as backlog, aging, SLA, throughput, cycle time, and resolution time.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Confluence, Google Workspace, Tableau, SQL, automation, or scripting is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
