Schedule: Full-time
About the Role
At Equitable, we help clients secure their financial well-being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives - a mission we’ve honed since 1859.
Equitable is looking for a Business Transformation Specialist to be a dynamic team member to join our Ways of Working team. This team is responsible for creating and evolving our new operating model by building the capabilities, leadership practices and execution disciplines required to achieve enterprise aspirations and unlock potential. As a team member, you will leverage Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), Agile methodologies, and empowerment methodologies to define and solve business problems as part of our enterprise Ways of Working, translating solutions into practical tools, actions, and measurable outcomes.
The Ways of Working team is one of several teams within the Innovation & Design Office (IDO). The IDO is an experienced group of internal consultants who enhance productivity and optimize ways of working across the enterprise.
What You’ll Be Doing
Launch Ways of Working (WOW) Strategy/Framework: Plan, deploy, communicate, and scale practices across the enterprise
Leadership & Team Enablement: Develop leaders and teams through coaching, consulting, facilitation, and capability-building programs that improve execution and organizational effectiveness
Transformation & Performance Acceleration: Partner with business areas to analyze data/insights and apply WOW practices and implement improvements that strengthen prioritization, collaboration, agility, productivity, and measurable outcomes
Build/Enhance WOW Content & Toolkits: Create and maintain frameworks, playbooks, learning assets, templates, tools, and practical guidance
Adoption & Activation: Partner with leaders and teams to embed Ways of Working into day-to-day business practices, reinforce behavior change, gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve adoption and impact.
Enterprise WOW Strategy: Define, maintain, and continuously improve the WOW framework, standards, practices, and maturity model.
Execution & Follow-through: Own defined workstreams from planning through delivery, including preparing materials, coordinating stakeholders, tracking actions and milestones, resolving issues, and following through on commitments.
What We're Looking For
An outcome-driven problem solver who:
Takes ownership of assigned workstreams and maintains a strong focus on measurable results
Approaches ambiguous problems with curiosity, structure and sound judgment
Looks beyond symptoms to identify root causes, insights and practical next steps
Uses data, research and stakeholder input to develop well-supported recommendations
Perseveres through challenges and organizational roadblocks while escalating decisions appropriately
A builder who:
Enjoys turning ideas into tangible processes, tools, prototypes, analyses or implementation plans
Can translate concepts into clear, practical solutions that stakeholders can use
Is comfortable learning and applying technology, automation and generative AI to simplify work
Tests, learns and iterates rather than waiting for perfect information
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on–site presence of 3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration.
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
For eligible employees, Equitable provides a full range of benefits. This includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. For detailed descriptions of these benefits, please reference the link below.
