About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Unit Accountant to join our Latin America Finance Team. This role is responsible for supporting the financial management and administration of projects across the Business Unit, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of project financial information.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Project Controllers, and Finance teams across multiple countries, supporting project setup, billing, accounts receivable, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and project performance analysis. This position requires strong analytical skills, sound professional judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-country consulting environment.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Manage the financial administration and performance of projects across Latin America Business Unit.

• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and project financial controls.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, budgets, backlog, and profitability metrics.

• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

• Partner with Project Managers, Project Controllers, and Finance teams to provide financial insights and decision-making support.

• Drive process improvements, standardization, and reporting efficiencies across the Business Unit.

• Support audit activities and ensure the integrity of project financial documentation.

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role (Project Finance Controller or Project Controls).

• Strong knowledge of project financial management, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, billing, and accounts receivable across multiple countries in Latin America.

• Experience preparing and analyzing financial reports and performance metrics in a multi-country or regional environment.

• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; BST and Concur experience is an asset.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI.

• Knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Advanced English proficiency (mandatory); Portuguese is an asset.
