Job Description
This is a remote position.
One of our large clients is looking for a contract Business/Technical Architect, details are as below:
Contract: 6 Months to start with a high probability of extension
Remote Workstyle
Billable Hours: 8 Hrs/day
We are seeking an experienced Technical/Business Architect to support the analysis, design, and implementation of business and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technical capabilities, ensuring that proposed solutions align with organizational objectives, business processes, and technology standards.
Familiarity with or hands-on experience in Algonomy and Sales Audit or similar technologies. Experience in the retail and public sector would be an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional needs, and technical specifications to develop effective solution designs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, and vendors to understand business challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Develop solution architectures, technical designs, business process models, and architectural documentation as required.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
- Evaluate existing systems, applications, integrations, and business processes to identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support system integration, data flows, application interfaces, and end-to-end solution design.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security requirements, scalability, performance, and applicable standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, requirements-gathering sessions, and design reviews.
- Support implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle, including solution validation, testing, deployment, and issue resolution.
- Identify risks, assess solution alternatives, and provide recommendations to support informed business and technical decisions.
