Mission We are hiring a Buyplanner responsible for managing inventory, planning product buys, and optimizing brand assortments across categories. This role requires strong Excel expertise, fashion sense, and the ability to forecast demand accurately to ensure optimal stock levels and maximize sales. The Buyplanner will coordinate with merchandising, supply chain, and sales teams to implement inventory strategies that support both operational efficiency and business growth. Responsibilities Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence. Analyze historical sales data and trends to forecast future inventory needs. Plan and manage inventory levels for multiple brands and categories. Create assortments for new collections, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market demand. Identify slow-moving items and recommend markdowns, promotions, or inventory adjustments. Build and maintain detailed Excel models for inventory forecasting, sales analysis, and buy planning. Track sell-through rates, stock availability, and aging inventory. Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports on inventory performance and KPIs. Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams to optimize product mix and placement. Maintain a strong understanding of fashion trends, customer preferences, and brand aesthetics. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate inventory needs and adjustments across merchandising, supply chain, and sales departments. Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to reduce stock-outs, excess inventory, and operational inefficiencies. Qualifications Years of Experience: 2+ years in inventory management, buy planning, or merchandising within fashion retail. CRM tool: Not required Softwares : Excel Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros). Industry Knowledge : Fashion trends, product assortments, and luxury apparel buying.
