About the role

As a C++ software engineer at VeroTech, you contribute to advanced software development in a Windows environment. You work with modern C++, object-oriented design and supporting tools to build robust applications while collaborating with international stakeholders.

You operate in a structured engineering context with attention to process rigor, complexity and quality. Depending on project needs, your work may also connect with user interface development, automation interfaces and international collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software using C++20 in a Windows 11 environment

• Apply object-oriented design principles to create maintainable and scalable solutions

• Use Visual Studio 2022 for development, debugging and compilation

• Manage source code and collaboration through Git and GitHub

• Contribute to project tracking and delivery workflows using JIRA and TeamCity

• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders on technically complex topics

• Support related development areas such as Python, MFC, WPF, C# or PLC interfaces when relevant

What we're looking for

We are looking for a rigorous and communicative software engineer with strong C++ expertise, a structured way of working and the ability to collaborate in an international technical environment.

• Strong experience with modern and advanced C++, including C++20

• Solid knowledge of Visual Studio, object-oriented design, Git and Windows

• Practical experience with Python in a software engineering context

• Knowledge of C#, WPF, MFC or PLC is a plus

• Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, TeamCity or CI/CD practices is advantageous

• Proficient in English and able to communicate clearly with technical stakeholders

• Comfortable with complexity, fast to learn and rigorous in following engineering processes

• Available to work at least 3 full days per week onsite and open to international travel depending on project needs
