Senior Software Engineer

SGI is currently supporting a long-term software engineering project in Leuven and is looking for experienced C++ Engineers for an initial 12-month engagement.

Location: Leuven, Belgium

Start: January 2027 (potentially earlier)

Duration: 12 months

Working model: 3 full days per week onsite in Leuven (required) + 2 days remote

Key requirements:

• Strong modern/advanced C++ development experience (C++20)
• Python
• Visual Studio
• Object-Oriented Design (OOD/OOP)
• Git/GitHub
• Strong Windows development experience

Nice to have:

• C# / WPF
• MFC
• PLC experience

Technology environment:

C++20, C#, Python, MFC, WPF, Visual Studio 2022, Git/GitHub, JIRA, TeamCity and Windows 11.
