Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the CAD Manager in developing, maintaining, and enforcing company-wide CAD standards, drafting conventions, and production workflows.
- Manage and maintain CAD resource libraries, including templates, title blocks, CTB/STB files, linetypes, tool palettes, block libraries, and sheet sets.
- Perform routine CAD file audits and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to enforce consistent file naming conventions, folder structures, and archiving practices.
- Support project setup activities, including sheet set creation, reference file management, and project folder configuration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for CAD support, troubleshooting application errors, file issues, and performance problems.
- Manage and track CAD support requests through the helpdesk system, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the CAD Manager or IT with clear documentation of troubleshooting steps.
- Coordinate with IT on workstation configurations, CAD software deployments, and hardware support needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
