Job Title: Energy Advisor Job Description The Energy Advisor role focuses on supporting residential and commercial customers with their energy-related inquiries in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment. You handle inbound calls, provide expert consultation on energy efficiency programs, analyze usage patterns to resolve billing concerns, and educate customers on conservation solutions that help lower their energy costs. You also promote renewable energy programs while delivering exceptional customer service and meeting departmental performance targets. This position is offered as a remote, 12-month contract with potential for conversion. Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a fast-paced queue environment. Provide expert consultation on energy efficiency programs and available conservation solutions. Analyze customer energy usage patterns to identify issues and recommend cost-saving measures. Assist customers with billing inquiries and resolve concerns related to energy usage and charges. Educate customers on strategies to reduce energy consumption and lower their utility costs. Promote and explain renewable energy programs and related offerings to interested customers. Deliver exceptional customer service on every interaction, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor. Accurately document customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the appropriate systems. Meet or exceed departmental performance targets, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics. Multitask effectively by navigating systems, reviewing account information, and communicating clearly with customers at the same time. Essential Skills Proven experience working in a fast-paced call center environment handling customer inquiries. Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume inbound calls while maintaining quality and professionalism. Strong customer service skills with a focus on empathy, active listening, and clear communication. Ability to multitask effectively while using multiple systems and tools during live calls. Comfort working with energy-related topics such as utility services, energy usage, and billing inquiries. Capability to analyze customer information and usage patterns to identify issues and recommend solutions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience or strong interest in clean energy and energy efficiency is a bonus. Background in utility or energy-related customer support is an advantage. Enthusiasm for educating customers about conservation and renewable energy programs. Work Environment This role operates in a remote, fast-paced call center environment where you work primarily on inbound customer calls in a high-volume queue. You use standard call center technologies and customer account systems to review usage data, billing details, and program information while speaking with customers. Work is focused on delivering timely, accurate, and courteous support, with performance measured through call quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics. As a remote position, you work from your chosen location with appropriate professional attire for any video-based interactions, and you collaborate with your team virtually throughout the 12-month contract, which may offer potential for conversion. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bothell, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
