Economic opportunities : Agriculture and food security, entrepreneurship and enterprise development, financial inclusion, and workforce development Youth development : Skill-building, civic engagement, leadership, and livelihood support Women’s empowerment : Women’s economic empowerment and violence prevention Democracy and governance : Civic participation and institutional strengthening Inclusive development : Work with refugees/IDPs, people with disabilities, other marginalized groups Mental health and psychosocial support : Integration of trauma-informed approaches Consultants may provide technical expertise and strategic guidance; conduct research, assessments, and evaluations; develop training curricula and learning products; facilitate workshops; or design programs. Assignments may be short- or long-term, depending on project needs and client requirements, and be remote or require travel to specific locations. Joining our consultant database does not guarantee immediate work but allows us to identify and match experts with upcoming opportunities that align with their skills and experience. Qualifications Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria: At least 5 years of experience in a relevant sector Extensive experience collaborating with international development organizations or donor/funding agencies Strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in both written and verbal formats Proven ability to work both independently and within cross-cultural, multidisciplinary teams Proficiency in English (proficiency in additional widely spoken languages is a plus) Making Cents International is a certified B Corporation, founded on the principles of social entrepreneurship.
