Campaign & Events Specialist role
IntelassistEmployment Type: Full-Time Employment
Work Setup: 2-4 weeks Training & Onboarding onsite, afterwards pure WFH
Work Schedule: 24/7 Operations
Location: Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Candidate Profile: Who We're Hunting For
Core Competencies (Must-Have)
1. Strategic Campaign Thinking + Execution
- Has built email campaigns that outperform benchmarks (know why they work)
- Can look at a market/audience and think: "Here's what they need to hear, here's the angle that lands"
- Can write subject lines and copy that convert (not generic, not fluffy)
- Understands list segmentation and targeting deeply (not just list size, but relevance)
- Takes data seriously — tracks performance, iterates based on results, adjusts approach
- Doesn't just execute briefs; questions briefs and suggest better angles
Why this matters: Campaigns are 40% of this role, but campaigns that work require thinking. We need someone who understands the market well enough to know what message lands with mining ops managers vs. semiconductor engineers. By month 4, they're not asking "what campaign should I build?" They're saying, "I see an opportunity here, and here's how I'd execute it."
2. Industry Intelligence Synthesis
- Can attend a meeting with smart people and extract real insight (not just transcribe)
- Asks follow-up questions to fill gaps ("Wait, what do you mean by X?" "How does that show up in hiring?")
- Spots patterns across multiple conversations ("I'm hearing this from mining and manufacturing — could be a broader trend")
- Translates expert knowledge into marketing/campaign ideas ("The advisor said Z, which means we should create content about Y")
- Curious about industries; reads industry news; wants to understand how things actually work.
Why this matters: This is the "part of the fabric" work. They sit in advisor meetings and extract meaning. They don't just consolidate notes; they translate expert insight into strategic direction for content and campaigns. This requires both listening and thinking.
3. Event Strategy & Execution (End-to-End)
- Has managed events (research, planning, logistics, post-event follow-up)
- Thinks strategically about which events matter ("Why are we going to this one? Who will we meet?")
- Prepares rigorously (pre-event outreach, target list research, team briefing, material prep)
- Executes follow-up systematically (nurture sequences, pipeline tracking)
- Takes event ROI seriously and optimizes ("Why did this event work better than that one?")
Why this matters: Events are 30% of the role. It's not just logistics. We need someone who can look at an event calendar and say, "we should be at X because our target market will be there, and here's how we'll maximize it." And then actually execute it end-to-end.
4. Project & Campaign Autonomy
- Can own multiple projects simultaneously without dropping context
- Self-directed (doesn't need daily guidance; flags blockers proactively)
- Organized (uses systems, keeps notes, follows through)
- Comfortable with ambiguity early on; learns fast; asks questions
- Transitions from "getting direction" (months 1-3) to "proposing initiatives" (month 4+)
Why this matters: This role requires independence. By month 4, they're not waiting for a brief. They see an opportunity, think through how to execute, and propose it to you for approval/feedback. That requires someone who's comfortable owning the work.
5. Writing + Communication: English
- Writes clear, direct copy (subject lines, CLMs, campaign messaging)
- Speaks/writes in B2B voice (professional but human, no corporate jargon)
- Can explain complex ideas simply (both in writing and conversation)
Why this matters: They write CLM subject lines and copy that have to land. They also write meeting agendas, consolidate notes, communicate with advisors and recruiters. Writing is constant.
Core Competencies (Nice-to-Have, but Will Differentiate)
- Bullhorn ATS exposure (we use Bullhorn heavily; they'll learn it)
- SourceWhale or similar outreach tool (email sequencing platform)
- B2B recruitment or staffing background (not required, but helps context)
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Basic content knowledge (they'll read industry blogs; if they have that habit, they'll get smart faster)
