At M&G, our purpose is to give everyone real confidence to put their money to work. With a heritage dating back more than 175 years, we have a long history of innovation in savings and investments, combining asset management and insurance expertise to offer a wide range of solutions.
Our two distinct operating segments, Asset Management and Life, work together to provide access to balanced, long-term investment and savings solutions.
Through telling it like it is, owning it now and moving it forward together with care and integrity; we are creating an exceptional place to work for exceptional talent.
We will consider flexible working arrangements for any of our roles and offer workplace adjustments to ensure you have the support you need to succeed in your role.
The Role: Campaign Lead
Great campaigns need more than a great idea. They need someone who makes them happen.
The brief has ambition. The creative has potential. But bringing it all together, connecting activity across channels and delivering results?
That takes someone who sees the possibilities and knows how to move things forward. Someone who sees the bigger picture without losing the detail. Who builds momentum, brings people with them and knows when to challenge the plan, not simply update it.
Sound like you?
At M&G, we’re looking for a Campaign Lead to lead the development and delivery of major campaigns over the coming years. It’s a chance to put your judgement and experience to work: shaping how activity connects, helping ambitious ideas become standout campaigns and applying what we learn to make each one stronger.
Big-picture thinking. Hands-on delivery.
You’ll translate brand and marketing strategy into clear, connected campaign plans, then stay close from the first brief through to launch, measurement, optimisation and learning.
Working with colleagues and agency partners, you’ll help deliver activity across paid, owned and earned channels. Not simply putting the same message everywhere, but understanding what each channel should do, how audiences experience the campaign and how every part works together.
You’ll bring the structure that helps creativity flourish: clear objectives, thoughtful briefs, realistic plans and well-managed budgets. You’ll keep decisions moving, create clarity around roles and approvals, resolve competing priorities and know when to act or escalate. Throughout, you’ll protect the quality of the creative work as it moves into production and out into market.
And you won’t stop at launch. You’ll establish what success looks like upfront, track performance and turn the findings into practical improvements.
Attention matters. What the campaign achieves matters too.
Good with campaigns. Great with people.
This is a role for someone who can connect strategy, creativity and delivery, and connect the people behind them.
You’ll build productive relationships across disciplines and at every level, from specialist delivery teams and agency partners to senior marketing leaders. You’ll listen carefully, challenge constructively and give people the clarity they need to move forward. When priorities change, you’ll adapt the approach without losing sight of the objective.
You’ll know how to write a strong brief, give useful feedback, manage scope and costs, and build partnerships with agency and production partners that produce better work.
What you’ll bring
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience leading integrated, multi-channel campaigns from strategic brief through to delivery, measurement and learning.
- Strong campaign planning and delivery experience, including managing budgets, agency or production partners, deadlines and resources.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders and constructively resolving competing priorities.
- Experience using audience insight and campaign-performance data to set success measures, make decisions and improve activity.
- Experience operating in a regulated or strongly brand-governed sector, and working within brand, compliance and approval requirements.
You’ll also bring creative curiosity, sound judgement and an agile approach. You’ll be comfortable finding a better route when the obvious one is not enough, while maintaining the structure and control needed to deliver responsibly.
Useful, but not essential
Financial or professional services experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We welcome relevant experience from other regulated or strongly brand-governed sectors. Experience managing sponsorships or strategic partnerships would also be useful.
You’ll be curious about how smarter production approaches and the responsible use of AI can support better campaign delivery. You do not need to be an AI specialist, but you should be able to recognise where new tools could genuinely improve the work.
Bring your judgement. Your curiosity. Your ability to make things happen.
If you want your next role to combine creative ambition with the satisfaction of seeing the work land, we’d like to hear from you.
Apply for our Campaign Lead role.
