IDEXX Veterinary Software is the fastest growing part of IDEXX, with technology platforms that help veterinary practices run their businesses. If you are in the veterinary world, you know that IDEXX is a global leader in pet healthcare innovation, with diagnostics, software, and data solutions for practicing veterinarians around the world. If you live in Maine, you know that IDEXX is one of the largest employers in the state and is active in the community.
At IDEXX you can work on software that touches millions of pets. You get the stability of a global S&P 500 company and the chance to work on growing software products with smart, mission-driven people. We are scientists, developers, product managers, strategists, marketers, and business development people who care about doing good work with good people.
Why this role matters:
As Campaign Manager, Software Marketing, you will help plan and run the multi-channel campaigns that bring new customers to IDEXX Veterinary Software and keep existing customers engaged. You will work across product marketing, demand generation, content, email, and sales to keep campaigns on schedule, on budget, and clear in their message. This role is ideal for someone who likes both the planning and the doing. You will spend as much time in project plans and performance reports as you will in creative reviews and working sessions.
In this role:
- You will be the point person for individual campaigns. That means working with our paid media agency, internal content team, global marketing organization, email team, and external freelancers and agencies to get each campaign briefed, built, launched, and measured.
- Campaign Planning: You will work with product marketing and demand generation to turn acquisition and engagement goals into campaign plans with defined audiences, messages, channels, timelines, and success measures.
- Campaign Coordination: You will act as the point person for assigned campaigns from kickoff to wrap-up. Keep deliverables, deadlines, and budgets on track and flag risks early.
- Agency and Freelancer Partnership: You will work with our paid media agency and with freelancers and creative agencies on campaign briefs, timelines, and reviews, in coordination with our internal teams.
- Content Partnership: You will work with internal content teams and freelancers to make sure each campaign has the assets it needs, such as landing pages, emails, ads, guides, and webinars, and that they are written clearly for practice owners, veterinarians, and practice teams.
- Email and HubSpot Campaigns: You will coordinate with the email team to build and launch campaigns in HubSpot.
- Customer Acquisition and Engagement: You will support campaigns for new customer acquisition and for existing customers, including adoption, onboarding, cross-sell, and retention programs.
- Measurement and Reporting: You will track campaign performance against goals, report on results, and recommend changes to targeting, messaging, and channel mix.
- Campaign Operations: You will help maintain the campaign calendar, briefs, templates, and status updates that keep a distributed team aligned.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work with product marketing, demand generation, events, sales, and customer success to keep campaigns connected to what customers and sales teams need.
What you need to be successful:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, including running multi-channel campaigns, ideally for a SaaS or technology business.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience supporting campaigns across paid media, email, web, and content.
- Experience working with external agencies and freelancers, including writing briefs and keeping work on schedule and on budget.
- Working knowledge of HubSpot. Candidates who can build and manage their own campaign elements in HubSpot are especially welcome.
- Familiarity with campaign performance metrics such as leads, MQLs, SQLs, conversion, and cost per lead.
- Strong project management and organizational skills. You keep many moving pieces on track without being chased.
- Clear writing and good editorial judgment.
- A self-starter who can work independently, make sound decisions within established guidelines, and move work forward in a large organization.
- Comfort switching between planning and hands-on execution.
- Experience in veterinary, healthcare, or practice management software is a plus. Love of animals helps.
What you can expect from us:
- Position Location: Westbrook, ME preferred. Remote candidates will be considered, and must be able to work Eastern time hours. You will collaborate with team members in multiple locations.
- Salary targeting $120K-$123K annual
- Opportunity for annual cash bonus
- Health / Dental / Vision benefits day one
- 5% matching 401k
- On-the-job training and career advancement opportunities
- Additional benefits including but not limited to financial support, pet insurance, mental health resources, volunteer paid days off, employee stock program, foundation donation matching, and much more
- A dynamic and exciting career that utilizes your veterinary practice experience and technical skills, allows you to travel, meet new people, expand your knowledge and skill set, all while positively impacting the lives of pets and their owners
- To consistently meet new people and building relationships with our customers
- Continued growth within your position through comprehensive training programs
