About the Role As Campaigner for Germany, you will be at the heart of CitizenGO’s advocacy work, developing and running national campaigns that turn important political and cultural moments into opportunities for action. You will monitor political, legislative, and cultural developments, identify strong campaign opportunities, and craft persuasive emails, petitions, and calls to action that mobilize supporters. You will take ownership of your campaigns from research and development through launch and follow-up. You will also prepare, adapt, or translate global campaign communications from English, ensuring they are clear, compelling, and culturally relevant for your audience. Beyond digital campaigning, you will contribute to offline actions such as petition deliveries, public stunts, and other campaign activities. You may also engage with journalists, activists, influencers, and like-minded organizations to expand the reach and impact of your campaigns. Working closely with the Campaign Director and the wider CitizenGO team, you will help ensure that our supporters’ signatures, participation, and donations translate into meaningful impact. See our culture page for more! What You'll Do You will monitor global and national developments to identify opportunities for impactful campaigns. You will draft, proofread, edit, and send compelling petitions and campaign emails to CitizenGO supporters. You will create and refine prompts for AI tools to enhance emails, communications, and other written materials. You will research and source relevant, issue-specific supporting materials from the press, NGOs, etc., for campaigns. You will coordinate local briefings, press releases, and campaign research in German. You will send emails to CitizenGO’s supporters in your list to inform them about new campaigns and ongoing campaign results. You will translate and adapt CitizenGO’s global campaigns and emails from English into German, ensuring they are clear and culturally relevant. You will manage communication with supporters and respond to inquiries when needed. You will propose offline actions such as ad buys and public petition deliveries. You will attend, lead, and/or support campaign events and take ownership of local logistics when necessary. You will assist and advise the Media Campaigners on offline events and performances related to campaigns. You will engage in public speaking and media relations. You will establish connections with journalists, influencers, and activists on social media to expand campaign reach. You will manage correspondence and conduct consultations (e.g., polling) with members. Who you are You are based in Germany, and speak German as a first language. You believe deeply in CitizenGO’s mission and are committed to defending life, family, and freedom. You have at least a B2-level proficiency in English. (Duolingo English Test required for non-natives, minimum score of 100). Spanish and other languages are a plus. You demonstrate good strategic, creative, and innovative thinking, with the ability to analyze socio-political scenarios, develop complex ideas, and communicate them clearly. You understand how civic advocacy, citizen mobilization, and grassroots campaigning function. You demonstrate high professionalism, self-motivation, efficiency, and results-oriented delivery on short timelines. You have strong teamwork skills and are comfortable in a highly collaborative team culture and a hierarchical team structure. You can adjust quickly to changing conditions and requirements. You are willing to work autonomously on a variety of tasks and projects, prioritizing them efficiently. You are proactive, take the initiative to get the job done, and contribute valuable projects and proposals to the entire organization. You have strong user-level computer skills. Experience with Google Workspace is preferred, and proficiency in CRM software and project management tools is an asset. You have a flexible schedule, can work on tight deadlines, and are available for evening and weekend work and occasional travel as the need arises. You have previous experience in copywriting and producing marketing content, which is an asset. You are proficient in using AI to generate emails, communications, and other written materials, which is an asset. You are familiar with managing social media accounts, which is a plus.
