Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Car Expert / Motor Claims Loss Adjuster role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, with the flexibility to work from home.

Duties

• Processing motor insurance claims including estimation and loss adjustment, verifying claim documentation, evaluating claim eligibility and calculating appropriate cost of repair or claim settlements accurately within a strict turnaround time.
• Handle and negotiate cost of repair/settlement with external parties.
• Participate in projects and initiatives set to achieve the departmental and organization key goals.

Knowledge & Experience

• Advanced experience in motor insurance and proficiency in Merimen are essential.
• Certificate in Basic Certificate Course in Insurance Loss Adjusting (BCCILA).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate and handle negotiation.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
• Ability to travel if required.
