This role works in close partnership with the Clinic Administrator and Medical Director to oversee clinic operations, support care delivery, strengthen Tribal partnerships, and drive sustainable growth throughout Thurston, Lewis, and Grays Harbor counties.

This is a highly visible leadership position centered on relationship-building. The Care Community Leader serves as the primary connection between clinic staff, Tribal stakeholders, and Indigenous Pact's broader support network. Success in this role requires a consistent on-site presence, strong healthcare leadership experience, and a genuine commitment to serving Tribal communities through culturally responsive care.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day care and business operations of Hope and Healing Clinic.
  • Partner with the Clinic Administrator and Medical Director to achieve operational, financial, quality, and patient experience goals.
  • Serve as the primary leadership sponsor and supervisor for the Clinic Administrator, including onboarding, development, succession planning, and operational support.
  • Manage clinic budgets, performance metrics, reporting, analytics, and operational forecasting.
  • Lead the planning, development, and optimization of new care programs, services, and facilities.
  • Coordinate shared service resources including compliance, technology, billing, human resources, marketing, and facilities support.

Tribal Partnerships & Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong, in-person relationships with Tribal leadership, health directors, cultural liaisons, Elders, and community members.
  • Attend Tribal meetings, community gatherings, and other events to strengthen partnerships and represent Indigenous Pact's commitment to Tribal communities.
  • Serve as the trusted liaison between the clinic, Tribal stakeholders, and the broader Indigenous Pact organization.
  • Support patient and community growth through outreach initiatives, marketing partnerships, referral development, and healthcare collaboration.

Clinical & Care Community Leadership

  • Champion patient-centered, culturally grounded care across all clinic operations.
  • Support clinic leadership in delivering high-quality addiction treatment, recovery, and healthcare services.
  • Foster healthcare best practices and create a culture of accountability, compassion, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a resource and connector for clinical teams, counseling staff, member services, facilities, and operational leadership.

Compliance & Quality

  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations, including OTP/MOUD requirements, HIPAA, DEA regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, 42 CFR Part 8, CARF standards, and Washington State healthcare requirements.
  • Partner with Indigenous Pact's Compliance and Privacy team to ensure regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and operational consistency across care communities.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations and care delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, multi-specialty healthcare, outpatient services, or related clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing healthcare operations, including patient services, revenue cycle functions, staffing, compliance, technology, and facility operations.
  • Experience leading managers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, stakeholder management, resource allocation, performance management, and quality improvement.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across diverse groups and navigate complex organizational partnerships.

Preferred

  • Experience working within Tribal healthcare systems, including Tribal health programs, Indian Health Service (IHS), or 638 facilities.
  • Experience leading clinic operations, including compliance, billing processes, care team oversight, and operational performance.
  • Background in community health outreach, health education, or community-based healthcare initiatives.
