What You’ll Do:
As a Career Coach, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their career development journeys by delivering actionable advice, personalized support, and creative strategies that align with their goals. You will work closely with clients in all tiers of our programs, tailoring your approach to their unique challenges and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1:1 Coaching Sessions: Deliver personalized career coaching to clients across Career Hub, Career Precursor, and Nurtured Excellence programs.

• Program Strategy Implementation: Leverage your proven strategies, techniques, and methods to help clients improve their resumes, job applications, interview skills, and overall career strategies.

• Customized Career Roadmaps: Create tailored career development plans that address client goals, barriers, and skill gaps.

• Job Placement Support: Assist clients in job searching, resume building, LinkedIn optimization, and preparing for interviews.

• Group Workshops: Design and facilitate engaging workshops on topics like career transitions, networking, and upskilling.

• Client Progress Reviews: Conduct regular progress check-ins, assess outcomes, and refine strategies as needed to ensure client success.

• Collaboration: Work with the Career EQ Hub team to enhance program offerings, innovate new solutions, and maintain high-quality client experiences.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and bring fresh, creative approaches to career coaching.

What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for real career coaches—not those just looking for a paycheck or with cookie-cutter methods. To thrive in this role, you must:

Be a Self-Starter:

• Have a proven ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment without needing micromanagement.

Be Experienced:

• Have a minimum of 1-2+ years of professional experience in career coaching, recruitment, HR, talent development, or a related field.

• Bring real strategies, techniques, and methods you’ve successfully used to help clients or employees advance in their careers.

Be Creative:

• Think outside the box and craft innovative solutions for unique career challenges.

• Demonstrate adaptability and creativity in solving problems and guiding clients.

Be Growth-Oriented:

• Be eager to grow with Career EQ Hub, bring fresh ideas, and take on challenges that push your limits.

• Seek feedback and continuously improve your coaching techniques.

Work Hard:

• Be willing to put in extra effort to meet deadlines, support clients, and contribute to team success.

• Recognize that your work will directly impact the lives of clients, and take pride in delivering excellence.

Must-Haves:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, psychology, business, sociology, or education).

• Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, or talent development.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency with career development tools, platforms, and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn optimization, resume building, ATS systems).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in career coaching a plus.

• Experience with specialized coaching (e.g., career transitions, tech industry, expat coaching).

• Knowledge of local job markets, particularly in Northern California.
