Job Summary

The Staff Accountant will join an established U.S. finance team to manage purchase orders, vendor invoice verification, accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and SAP Concur expense processing for nationwide live event operations. The role requires strict adherence to written accounting procedures and clear communication regarding process discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• QuickBooks Online & Transaction Processing: Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Accounts Payable & PO Matching: Review vendor invoices, match invoices against purchase orders (POs), process AP entries, and track payments through to completion.
• Reconciliations & Close Support: Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations, support month-end close schedules, and maintain organized audit documentation.
• Expense Management: Assist with employee expense reporting and processing using SAP Concur (training provided).
• Data Verification & Controls: Enter and verify financial data from internal stakeholders, maintain accounting schedules in MS Excel/Google Sheets, and flag process gaps immediately.
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Professional Qualification: Licensed CPA in good standing (CPA license number is required during the application assessment).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Software Expertise: Hands-on experience recording transactions in QuickBooks Online and strong MS Excel / Google Sheets skills (lookups, PivotTables).
• Accounting Principles: Solid working knowledge of debits and credits, AP/AR workflows, and account reconciliations.
• Working Hours & Remote Setup: Full availability to work U.S. Mountain Standard Time (MST) business hours, reliable high-speed internet, and a dedicated workspace.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Concur for expense reporting.
• Experience in event production, media, or entertainment.
• Experience matching 3-way vendor invoices to purchase orders.
• Experience working remotely with a U.S.-based corporate finance team.
