ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position Shore Excursion Associate for Carnival Cruise Line! The Carnival Adventures is an integral part of a guest cruise vacation. Assisting guests with the experiences at the ports of call. The role of Shore Excursion Associate is to assist the Shore Excursion Manager in maximizing net revenues for the department, whilst maintaining the highest level of guest service and product quality in a safe environment, Conditions: free food and accommodation on board First joining ticket is provided by company medical insurance provided during the work contract contract 6-8 months, followed by 2 months vacation Activities for crew Opportunity to save money and travel while working Meet new friends from all over the world No safety certificates needed Great chance to show yourself and build a career Duties and responsibilities: Partake in, and monitor the Shore Excursion Program Assist with the dispatch of all Shore Excursions; pier & lounge dispatch Achieve sales targets Achieve guest satisfaction targets (TGEM) Handle guest enquiries and complaints Promote and process Carnival MasterCard applications Maintain professional working relationships with Tour Operators Liaise with Product Team to maximize revenue Requirements: Experience of hospitality industry (2 years min): either hotels, tour companies or cruise lines. Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. Additional language knowledge (Spanish, Italian, French, German, Japanese or Mandarin) is PREFFERED Experience and competence in sales. Understanding of marketing and promotion methods. High level of computer skills including Microsoft packages. A good understanding of safety and environmental ideals. Understanding of revenue responsibility. Driver's License preferred. Ability to swim and partake in adventure activities Excellent verbal and written communication skills (guest, team, other departments, management, partners) Approachable and a good listener Ability to work under pressure Strong planning and execution skills: able to prioritize, organize and take a structured approach Additional language knowledge (Spanish, Italian, French, German, Japanese or Mandarin) is PREFFERED Age: min. 21 years old⠀ Covid-19 vaccination is not mandatory, but you have to be ready to be vaccinated onboard against Covid-19 and Influenza.
