Carrier Sales Representative(Refrigerated freight)

We are looking for an experienced Carrier Sales Representative specializing in reefer (refrigerated) transportation to join our client's team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in U.S. freight brokerage, experience sourcing and managing reefer carriers, and the ability to negotiate competitive rates while ensuring reliable, temperature-controlled transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, qualify, and develop relationships with reefer carriers across the U.S. market.

• Negotiate competitive rates and transportation terms with carriers to ensure profitable load coverage.

• Secure reliable capacity for refrigerated shipments while meeting customer requirements and delivery deadlines.

• Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and shipment schedules with carriers and customers.

• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with temperature-control requirements.

• Track loads and proactively address delays, temperature-related concerns, and other transportation issues.

• Maintain strong relationships with carriers to build a reliable network of reefer capacity.

• Update load information and maintain accurate records in the TMS.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and high customer satisfaction.

• Previous experience in U.S. freight brokerage, preferably in carrier sales or load coverage.

• Experience working with reefer carriers and refrigerated freight.

• Proven negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

• Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop, and transportation management systems (TMS).

• Understanding of temperature-controlled transportation requirements, including reefer settings and maintaining appropriate shipment conditions.

Working conditions:

• Working schedule: Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM EST
