This is a role within the Castrol organisation and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is expected that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.
As the Castrol Senior Finance Manager for Europe & META, you will be responsible for driving the performance of Castrol's business across the region. You will harness your strong analytical and commercial competence to find opportunities, develop strategies, and implement initiatives that enhance profitability and market share. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders and manage change effectively.
Key accountabilities:
- Drive business performance delivery in line with organisational goals and strategic objectives
- Lead the development and implementation of performance improvement strategies across Castrol's Europe & META operations.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, financial data, and operational performance to identify key drivers and areas for optimization.
- Use data visualization and interpretation skills to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Foster a customer-centric approach, ensuring performance initiatives align with customer needs and market demands.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to achieve business objectives.
- Employ agility core practices to adapt to changing market conditions and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership and external partners.
- Manage financial reporting and credit management processes related to performance initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with performance strategies and operational changes.
- Champion sustainability awareness and integrate sustainable practices into performance initiatives where appropriate.
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes and strategies.
- Proactively seek out creative and innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
Requirements of the role:
- Proven experience in a senior performance management role within a large, multinational organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in agility core practices.
- Exceptional analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Strong commercial competence and a deep understanding of business drivers.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive performance delivery.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- A strong track record of creativity and innovation in problem-solving.
- Experience with credit management and financial reporting.
- A customer-centric perspective with a focus on delivering value.
- Proficiency in data visualization and interpretation tools and techniques.
