Join our team supporting USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), a mission-critical enterprise platform that modernizes transportation, logistics, and financial operations through SAP S/4HANA ERP integration.

We're looking for an accomplished Software Test Engineer with experience testing Customer-Content, Capture and Records Services (CCARS) or a comparable enterprise content, document, records, capture, or workflow management system that integrates with SAP.

The tester will perform hands-on functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure documents, content, metadata, workflows, records, and associated data are accurately exchanged and processed between CCARS and SAP. The position will work closely with SAP functional teams, developers, business analysts, product owners, and integration teams within a SAFe Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Analysis: Review user stories, functional requirements, interface specifications, and business processes to identify test scenarios, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and integration testing requirements.
  • Test Development: Design, develop, and maintain test cases and test scripts for CCARS functionality, SAP integrations, document workflows, interfaces, and related business processes.
  • CCARS Testing: Validate Customer-Content, Capture and Records Services functionality including content capture, document processing, indexing, metadata, routing, workflow, retrieval, permissions, and records management.
  • SAP Integration Validation: Verify inbound and outbound document and data exchanges between SAP and CCARS, including interface processing, field and metadata mappings, status updates, error handling, reconciliation, and end-to-end transaction/document traceability.
  • Workflow Testing: Validate business workflows spanning CCARS and SAP, including document submission, routing, approvals, status changes, notifications, and downstream processing.
  • Role and Permission Testing: Verify user roles, access controls, document permissions, and security-related functionality operate according to business and system requirements.
  • Defect Management: Document defects with detailed reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and supporting evidence; track issues to resolution and communicate findings effectively to development and integration teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with developers, SAP functional teams, business analysts, product owners, and external system stakeholders to clarify requirements, coordinate cross-system testing, and maximize test coverage.
  • Test Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, test data sets, interface validation evidence, document/workflow test results, and traceability matrices aligned with SAFe Agile practices.
  • Agile Participation: Actively engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance integration testing, test coverage, traceability, and quality assurance practices.

Qualifications

  • Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Testing Experience: Minimum 5 years of manual software testing experience involving large-scale ERP, enterprise business, or integrated information systems.
  • CCARS / Content and Records Management Experience: Proven hands-on testing experience with CCARS or a comparable enterprise content, capture, document, records, or workflow management platform integrated with SAP.
