As a CCLCM Education Coordinator II, you will coordinate the design and development of education programs for the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. In this role, you will support the Clinical Curriculum for Year 3 medical students by coordinating clerkship rotations, including core rotations for TBC 1 (Surgery and Internal Medicine), TBC 2 (Pediatrics and OB/GYN), Longitudinal Didactics, and Longitudinal Learning Groups (LD/LLG). You will lead and track Clinical Education Clerkship meetings, held monthly, and collaborate with another Education Coordinator to organize annual Clerkship Orientation, including student rotation scheduling, onboarding activities, lab coat ordering, and classroom reservations. Additionally, you will work closely with Clerkship Directors and Associate Clerkship Directors to support rotation activities by coordinating mid-assessment and final assessment meetings, assisting with simulation workshop setup and breakdown, communicating important rotation information to students, and maintaining and updating the Portal. A caregiver in this role works a hybrid schedule from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with flexibility in start and end times. This position requires 3–4 days on-site and 1–2 days remote. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Coordinate directed educational opportunities and in-service programs that support the mission of the College of Medicine. Collaborate with external and public advocates to coordinate educational opportunities that enhance awareness and engagement among targeted external groups. Design, schedule, and coordinate educational meetings, including arranging presenters and speakers. Oversee and edit content for College of Medicine intranet websites as needed. Review and maintain current knowledge of relevant websites and resources related to assigned areas. Develop communications and educational materials to inform stakeholders about programs and initiatives. Create educational resources in collaboration with appropriate Cleveland Clinic departments and individuals, including Marketing, the Education Institute, Office of General Counsel, and the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine. Lead and train caregivers within the assigned area. Support the Clinical Curriculum for Year 3 medical students by coordinating and managing clerkship rotation activities. Provide support for core rotations, including TBC 1 (Surgery and Internal Medicine), TBC 2 (Pediatrics and OB/GYN), Longitudinal Didactics, and Longitudinal Learning Groups (LD/LLG). Lead and track Clinical Education Clerkship meetings that are held monthly. Collaborate with Education Coordinators to schedule and organize annual Clerkship Orientation, including student rotation scheduling, onboarding, lab coat ordering, classroom reservations, and related activities. Partner with Clerkship Directors and Associate Clerkship Directors to support student rotation experiences throughout TBC and LD/LLG rotations. Coordinate mid-assessment and final assessment meetings with students and faculty. Assist with the setup and breakdown of simulation workshops at the beginning of each rotation. Communicate important rotation information and updates to students. Maintain and update the Portal with current clerkship and curriculum information. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's degree in education, business administration or related field Three years of experience in a hospital or education setting dealing with the coordination or administration of education, training programs, medical education, special projects or related areas Conflict resolution skills Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Master's degree Professional experience working in a higher education setting (e.g., college or university) Experience working with multiple groups or leaders simultaneously (e.g., managing competing priorities, collaborating across departments, or supporting multiple stakeholders) Basic IT and office skills Physical Requirements: Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment Ability to travel throughout the hospital system Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
