ENTER THE GAME 🎮

You will join the Legal team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, reporting to the Legal Director and working closely with the General Counsel and business stakeholders. You will support Betclic’s marketing and commercial activities in a fast-paced, international environment.

The role is based in Bordeaux. Its geographical scope is to be confirmed. The expected start date is November or December 2026, subject to confirmation and handover arrangements with Manon, whose departure is planned for the end of October.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥

In this role, your main missions will be to:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents related to the company’s marketing and commercial activities, including sponsorship, brand ambassador, partnership and affiliate agreements.
• Review and approve advertising campaigns, promotional offers, social media content and influencer marketing operations.
• Oversee the execution of marketing contracts in close collaboration with the marketing teams.
• Advise marketing and commercial teams on legal issues related to their activities and contribute to relevant group projects.
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory changes affecting marketing and commercial activities, including advertising, consumer and digital regulations.
• Manage pre-litigation matters related to marketing and commercial activities, in collaboration with external counsel.
• Contribute to training and raising awareness among operational teams and central functions about the legal and regulatory constraints affecting marketing and commercial activities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

This job is for you if:

• You have a Master’s degree (Master II) in Business Law / Contract Law.
• You have at least three years of relevant experience, ideally in an international environment.
• You have strong expertise in contract law, commercial law, and the negotiation of different types of contracts.
• You have hands-on experience in advertising law, consumer law and intellectual property, particularly copyright and image rights. Knowledge of sports betting is a plus.
• You are methodical, rigorous, organized, and capable of analyzing and synthesizing complex issues, with impeccable confidentiality.
• You are autonomous, able to prioritize and provide practical, business-oriented solutions. You can quickly take over responsibilities and become operational in a short-term replacement role.
• You are collaborative, flexible, business-oriented, and recognized for your strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝

If your application is shortlisted, Elodie will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

Next, you will meet Julien – Legal Director, followed by Sarah – General Counsel.
