Enterprise CDI Transformation & Clinical Value

Provide executive leadership for CDI Optimization and Mandatory Reform Program. Translate the assessment into an enterprise operating model, direct three specialist workstreams and hold delivery accountable for adoption, quality and sustainable value.

Reports to the designated Sage executive sponsor; accountable to joint Trinity–Sage program governance. Provides functional direction to the three Optimization Specialists and partners with the Program Manager and Data Engineering.

Core responsibilities

Lead the assessment of staffing, productivity, work distribution, policies, quality, reporting and physician experience; approve the baseline narrative and priorities. Design corporate, regional and local decision rights, leadership structure and workload allocation. Present staffing recommendations supported by capacity, quality and performance evidence. Integrate specialist plans into one delivery agenda; resolve competing priorities, approve clinical workstream deliverables and escalate scope, timing and resource decisions. Secure executive and physician sponsorship. Set expectations for protected education time, local champions, adoption and accountability across rollout waves. Oversee financial and clinical performance with Finance, Quality and Analytics. Distinguish documented improvement, validated financial benefit and longer-term outcomes. Recommend wave progression and staffing transitions to Trinity governance; direct remediation and transfer ownership of education, QA and performance management.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related clinical discipline;

Active RN or other relevant clinical license; CCDS, CDIP or CCS.

Eight years of relevant clinical revenue cycle experience, including five years leading CDI or comparable multi-facility transformation.

Demonstrated executive communication, workforce redesign, physician engagement and financial interpretation.

Master’s degree and enterprise consulting experience preferred.
