Job Description
General Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Marketing Automation, CDP & OneTrust leads day-to-day execution of marketing automation, customer data activation, and consent integration. The role translates business requirements into operational requirements, manages customer data activation, partners with DTE and production partners to implement, test, and optimize capabilities. Internally, the focus is requirements, coordination, alignment, prioritization, and vendor oversight, while DTE and partners handle build and configuration. The role also builds the documented processes and clean data that will support AI-driven automation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their strategic goals, customer-engagement objectives, and evolving channel needs.
- Translate business requirements into operational requirements across CDP, identity resolution, audience management, marketing automation, and consent integration, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Identify opportunities to optimize customer-data activation, audience strategies, segmentation, journey orchestration, personalization, and coordinated channel execution.
- Collaborate with commercial, omnichannel, brand, field, and marketing-operations teams to identify new audience segments and customer journeys that can improve engagement and customer experience.
- Manage customer data activation to enable segmentation, journey orchestration, personalization, and coordinated execution across channels.
- Manage the execution backlog, prioritize work, and align stakeholders on timelines and dependencies.
- Partner with DTE to implement, test, and optimize capabilities, resolving issues and improving scalability and speed-to-market.
- Oversee DTE and third-party partners during execution, tracking deliverables, timelines, and quality, and coordinating UAT and go-live readiness.
- Confirm consent and preference data flows accurately from OneTrust to the CDP and into marketing automation.
- Ensure processes follow privacy, consent, data governance, and platform operating requirements (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA where applicable, and local pharmaceutical codes), with audit-ready traceability.
- Monitor platform performance, gather user feedback, and identify repeatable tasks that can be automated.
- Experience applying or supporting AI capabilities for predictive segmentation, personalization, or platform performance improvement.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, information systems, or a related field.
- Six or more years of experience in marketing technology delivery, business systems, or platform operations.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (journeys, automations, triggers, APIs); Adobe Campaign or Marketo is also relevant.
- Working Knowledge of CDP concepts, including identity resolution, audience management, and activation.
- Familiarity with consent and preference management, ideally OneTrust.
- Experience with requirements definition, UAT, Agile, and Jira, and overseeing vendors or technology partners.
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to execute ‘hands on’ while being innovative and flexible
- Experience with product roadmaps development and influencing key stakeholders for buy in on business priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven ability to explain complex information to others
- Proven ability to work with external business partners and vendors
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and manage complex projects that require collaboration across functional and geographic areas

Pay Range:
$144,000 - $216,000Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
