Job Requirements As a Central Process Methods Engineer at our flagship automated facility in Longueil-Sainte-Marie, you will sit at the absolute heart of FM Logistic’s technological transformation. You will be responsible for defining, modeling, and optimizing state-of-the-art warehouse floor layout paradigms and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role serves as the primary technical catalyst for deploying our advanced LOCIT industrial automation models and scaling our fleet of automated guided vehicles and Geek+ autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). Key Responsibilities: Analyze, design, and optimize automated intra-logistics material flows, picking layouts, and workstation ergonomics. Lead the deployment and performance tuning of automated systems (including AutoStore and AMR networks) to drive warehouse layout productivity. Partner closely with local Site Managers and central HRIT teams to ensure seamless alignment between WMS/ERP platforms and physical operations. Conduct continuous improvement and time-study analysis to reduce operational cycle times and maximize workforce throughput. Define technical specifications and engineering safety standards across multiple business units. Work Experience Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as an Industrial, Methods, or Process Engineer within a fast-paced 3PL, manufacturing, or fulfillment distribution environment. Automation Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing or implementing automated logistics solutions (AMR, AGV, AutoStore, or complex conveyor sorting networks). Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in industrial engineering software, including AutoCAD, layout simulation tools, and robust familiarity with WMS data mapping architectures. Analytical Power: Strong data literacy skills, including process mapping, value stream mapping (VSM), and lean manufacturing/logistics methodologies. Languages: Full professional fluency in French and English is mandatory to drive cross-border engineering alignment across our European hubs. Education: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a highly related technical domain. Benefits At FM Logistic, we invest heavily in our "augmented employees" by combining cutting-edge technical infrastructure with long-term human growth frameworks. Salary Range: €48,000 - €62,000 euros per annum (commensurate with specialized engineering experience). Professional Evolution: Tailored upskilling, certification pathways, and leadership mentoring programs facilitated directly through FM University. Health & Wellness: Comprehensive corporate health, life, and disability insurance coverage. Workplace Flexibility: Modern hybrid work policy supporting asynchronous alignment and flexible scheduling configurations. Perks: Premium meal vouchers ( Tickets Restaurant ), profit-sharing options ( Intéressement & Participation ), and commuter transit subsidies.
