Certification Engineer

We are seeking a Certification Engineer responsible for ensuring electrical and electronic products comply with global regulations, standards, and certification requirements. The role includes managing certifications, coordinating with test labs and certification bodies, and supporting global product approvals. Key Responsibilities: Product Certification & Compliance Ensure compliance with global safety, EMC, RF, and grid standards Manage product certification, testing, and documentation Coordinate with labs, certification bodies, and internal teams Review technical files, BOMs, schematics, and compliance reports Assess product changes for certification impact Regulations Ensure compliance with key regulations such as: LVD 2014/35/EU RED 2014/53/EU EMC 2014/30/EU EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 FCC Part 15 ISED RSS Series Grid Codes (EU, UK, US, AU,SA markets) Key Standards Safety: IEC 62109-1 / IEC 62109-2 IEC 60335-1 / IEC 60335-2-29 IEC 62040 UL 458/ UL 1741 IEC 62619/IEC 62620/UL 1973 EMC: EN 55014-1 / EN 55014-2 EN 55032 / EN 55035 IEC 61000-6-1 / IEC 61000-6-3/ IEC 61000-6-4 RED / RF: EN 300 328 EN 301 489 series Grid Codes: Austria: TOR Erzeuger Type A EN 50549-1 & EN 50549-10 Belgium: Synergrid C10/11 Australia: AS/NZS 4777.2 Germany: VDE-AR-N 4105 UK: G98 / G99 USA: IEEE 1547 / UL 1741 / UL 1741 SA / SB Documentation & Compliance Support technical files, declarations of conformity, and test reports. Ensure proper labelling and regulatory marking. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product teams. Provide regulatory input during product development. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field Experience: 2-5 years in product certification or regulatory compliance (electrical/electronic products preferred) Preferred Knowledge REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU POPs Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 California Proposition 65 TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) CMRT / EMRT / PFAS compliance
