Posted Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 4:00 AM The Role: The Certified Life Care Planner creates objective, evidence-based life care plans that help clients understand the long-term medical, vocational, and financial needs related to serious injuries or complex health conditions. This role helps attorneys, insurers, employers, and other stakeholders evaluate future care needs, expected costs, and long-term planning considerations with greater clarity and confidence. This role is a good fit for a clinically experienced professional who enjoys reviewing medical records, conducting research, and writing clear, well-supported reports. The Certified Life Care Planner evaluates current and future care needs, researches medical services and costs, and prepares reports used in litigation, claims review, and case planning. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and practical way. In This Role, You Will: Review detailed medical records and identify key treatment history, care needs, and supporting information Prepare life care plans, medical cost analyses, reports, and related research Evaluate complex medical files and identify current and future care needs Research medical services, equipment, medications, therapies, and related costs Use records, provider information, research, and cost data to support recommendations Support plaintiff and defense matters, including personal injury cases Communicate with providers, attorneys, claims professionals, and internal team members Participate in case discussions, file reviews, and report updates Apply clinical knowledge and life care planning standards to evaluate care needs Manage assignments and deadlines with accuracy and responsiveness Additional duties as assigned What You Bring: Active Registered Nurse license required Certified Life Care Planner certification required 10+ yrs of clinical, case management, rehabilitation, or related healthcare experience Strong understanding of medical terminology, treatment planning, and long-term care considerations Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed narrative reports and cost analyses Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills with close attention to detail Demonstrated experience building relationships with healthcare providers, clients, and case stakeholders Who We Are: YA Group is an international professional services organization providing forensic consulting, engineering, risk mitigation, and related services.
