Are you passionate about service quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement?
We are looking for a Change and Problem Manager to join Tieto Banktech Credit & Wealth Service and Support team in Riga, Latvia. In this role, you will help ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of business-critical banking and financial services used across the Nordic and European markets while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Tieto Banktech is a leading financial services software and solutions partner in the Nordics, delivering modular, pre-integrated Banking-as-a-Service platforms and mission-critical software for core banking, payments, credit, cards, fraud prevention, and wealth management. Our solutions operate in highly regulated, high-availability environments where security, resilience, and compliance are non-negotiable.
As a Change and Problem Manager, you will represent Credit & Wealth in Tieto Banktech governance forums and act as the local lead for Change and Problem Management procedures, controls, reporting, and continual improvement.
This is a full-time, hybrid-based position in Riga, with close collaboration with colleagues in several international locations.
When joining Tieto Banktech as a Change and Problem Manager, you will:
- Own, maintain, and continuously improve Credit & Wealth Change and Problem Management procedures, controls, reporting, and documentation, ensuring alignment with Tieto Banktech standards, regulatory requirements, customer commitments, and audit requirements.
- Represent Credit & Wealth in Change and Problem Management governance forums and coordinate activities across technical, operational, delivery, and customer-facing teams, including facilitating CAB meetings and other relevant forums.
- Drive effective, risk-based Change Management, ensuring changes are appropriately assessed, authorized, planned, communicated, implemented, reviewed, and documented while balancing service stability, compliance, operational risk, and delivery speed.
- Monitor change schedules, risks, and dependencies and support the successful implementation of standard, normal, and emergency changes.
- Drive Problem Management activities, ensuring Major Incidents, recurring incidents, failed changes, and identified service risks are evaluated and investigated, including facilitating root cause analysis and coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain oversight of problem records, known errors, workarounds, investigations, and follow-up actions, ensuring relevant information and lessons learned are documented and communicated to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and proactive risk identification by analyzing trends, technical debt, common faults, KPIs, dashboards, process performance, and stakeholder feedback to improve service reliability and quality.
- Train, coach, and support stakeholders in the effective application of Change and Problem Management procedures and promote consistent ways of working across the organization.
