Role summary: We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to support the successful delivery and adoption of organisational, operational, process and technology changes within a complex transformation environment.

The role will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering change management and communication activities, ensuring that stakeholders and impacted individuals understand the reasons for change, remain engaged throughout the transition and are equipped to adopt new ways of working.

Working across multiple programme workstreams, you will support the development and delivery of change strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, communication campaigns, training and business readiness activities, and adoption measurement approaches. You will act as a key link between programme teams, leadership, business stakeholders and end users, helping to minimise resistance, build stakeholder buy-in and support the successful realisation of business benefits.

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of change management strategies and communication plans across complex transformation programmes.

  • Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans, including stakeholder analysis and impact assessments.

  • Creating and delivering clear, accessible and engaging communications tailored to different audiences, including senior leadership, business stakeholders and end users.

  • Translating complex business and operational changes into practical change interventions, communications and learning materials.

  • Coordinating communication campaigns and engagement activities to support awareness, understanding and adoption of new ways of working.

  • Supporting business readiness, training readiness and adoption activities across multiple programme workstreams.

  • Facilitating stakeholder workshops, focus groups and engagement sessions to gather feedback, address concerns and encourage participation.

  • Identifying potential resistance to change and supporting the development of appropriate interventions to improve engagement and adoption.

  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of change and communication activities, using feedback, adoption metrics and reporting to identify areas for improvement.

  • Working collaboratively with programme teams and business stakeholders to ensure change activities are aligned with delivery milestones and organisational objectives.

  • Managing competing priorities and ensuring high-quality change and communication outputs are delivered to agreed timescales.

Formal qualifications or training:

  • Demonstrable experience supporting and delivering organisational change within complex programme or transformation environments.

  • Strong experience developing and delivering change management and communication plans, including stakeholder analysis, communications production and adoption activities.

  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes, ideally within regulated or asset-intensive environments.

  • Knowledge and practical application of recognised change management methodologies and adoption principles.

  • Experience translating complex business changes into effective communication, engagement and learning interventions.

  • Prosci, APMG Change Management or equivalent certification would be advantageous.

  • Experience of business readiness, change governance, organisational design or enterprise-wide communication campaigns would be desirable.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce accessible messaging for a range of audiences.

  • Proven stakeholder management and engagement skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority and build relationships at all levels.

  • Strong planning, coordination, facilitation and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
