Channel Sales Operations Analyst
Dublin City Centre | Hybrid Working | €67,000 | Fixed-Term Contract
We are recruiting an experienced Channel Sales Operations Analyst to join a leading global enterprise software organisation, supporting its European Channel, Alliances and Partner Sales business.
This opportunity will suit a Sales Operations professional who has worked directly with Channel Sales teams, distributors, resellers or partner-led sales organisations, and who understands the commercial and operational complexities of indirect sales.
The role combines sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, business planning, performance reporting and close collaboration with regional Channel Sales leadership.
The Role
Working closely with senior Channel and Partner Sales stakeholders across Europe, you will provide the operational support, commercial analysis and reporting needed to improve sales performance and support business decisions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Channel and Partner Sales leadership with sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, performance analysis and business planning.
- Analysing indirect sales performance across distributors, resellers and Channel partners, identifying risks, opportunities and areas requiring attention.
- Partnering with regional sales managers and directors to provide commercial insights, reporting and recommendations.
- Supporting territory planning, sales targets, quota allocation, capacity planning and periodic business reviews.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards, sales reports and performance metrics using Salesforce, Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools.
- Investigating data discrepancies, reporting gaps and pipeline visibility issues to improve the accuracy of commercial information.
- Contributing to process improvements, reporting automation and the use of AI-enabled tools to enhance sales insights.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Sales, Finance, Partner Operations and other business functions.
What We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in Channel Sales Operations, Partner Sales Operations, Indirect Sales Operations or Sales Strategy & Operations within a technology environment.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Demonstrable experience supporting an indirect or Channel Sales organisation, ideally involving distributors, resellers, MSPs or strategic technology partners.
- Strong experience in sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales performance reporting and commercial analysis.
- Experience working directly with Channel Sales Managers, Regional Sales Directors or senior commercial stakeholders.
- An understanding of Channel sales structures, partner ecosystems and the differences between direct and indirect sales models.
- Exposure to annual sales planning, territory management, quotas, targets or QBRs.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience using Salesforce, Excel and business intelligence/reporting tools such as Power BI.
- The ability to interpret commercial data, identify risks or opportunities and communicate meaningful recommendations to sales leadership.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently across multiple stakeholders and European markets.
Experience within enterprise software, SaaS, cybersecurity, networking, cloud infrastructure or another technology business with an established Channel sales model would be particularly relevant.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This is an opportunity to work within the European Channel and Alliances function of a major global software organisation, supporting commercial decision-making across multiple markets.
The position offers exposure to senior sales leadership, regional business planning, Channel performance analytics and evolving reporting technologies, including AI-assisted analysis.
