Reporting to the Board About Our Client Our client is an established Greek organization active in workforce development, offering recruitment, employability and corporate training services to businesses across a wide range of sectors, including tourism, retail, banking and business process outsourcing. Over the past decade, it has built a large network of corporate partners, a strong track record of successful placements, and a growing technology platform for AI powered talent matching. The organization combines commercial services with a genuine social mission, supporting groups such as the unemployed, career changers and other individuals seeking to enter or re enter the job market. The Role Our client is looking for an experienced General Manager or CEO to lead day to day operations across all service areas and to drive the organization's next phase of growth: building a stronger, more commercial relationship with businesses and developing a sustainable revenue model. This is a newly defined leadership role, created as the organization matures from a founder led structure into a multi service organization with a growing technology platform and an established network of corporate partners. You will work closely with the Board and the existing leadership team, and will take ownership of strategy, operations, finance, technology direction for the talent platform, people, and the organization's growing commercial relationships with employers. Key Responsibilities • Leadership and strategy: translate the organization's long term strategy into annual goals across its training, employability and other service lines. • Commercial growth: build systematic business development toward corporate clients, covering recruitment services, corporate training and the commercialization of the talent matching platform. • Operations: oversee service delivery, quality and performance across all centers and service lines. • Finance and sustainability: manage the budget, diversify revenue sources and reduce dependency on a small number of large accounts. • Technology: co own the commercial roadmap of the talent matching platform together with the technology lead. • People and culture: lead a multilingual, multicultural team of several dozen people, and build new commercial capability within the organization. • External relations: represent the organization publicly, particularly toward the business and HR community, and maintain strong relationships with partners and institutional stakeholders. What We're Looking For • Experience: 10 to 15+ years in general management or senior commercial and operational leadership, ideally combining a business background (B2B, staffing, training or consumer services) with genuine social impact experience. • Commercial mindset: a proven ability to build new revenue streams and negotiate with C level and HR leaders. • Operational strength: experience running a multi site, multi service organization or business unit. • Leadership style: comfortable partnering closely with a founder or board, with a clear sense of where each role begins and ends. • Mission alignment: genuine commitment to social impact, seeing commercial growth as a means to sustain and scale that impact. • Languages: fluent Greek and English.
