Our client is a leading Multinational company who have a regulated payment firm in Dublin.
This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in the office, in Dublin.
Key responsibilities
- As PCF-11 Head of Finance, lead the finance function and oversee its financial and regulatory reporting obligations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, management accounts and statutory financial statements.
- Ensure financial records and statutory financial statements comply with FRS 102, Irish company law and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Oversee financial controls, tax, external audit, intercompany accounting and cost allocations.
- Maintain Finance Policy and supporting procedures.
- Ensure Central Bank regulatory returns are accurate, appropriately reviewed and submitted on time.
- Oversee capital, liquidity, cash management and financial-resource requirements.
- As PCF-56 Head of Safeguarding, maintain oversight of safeguarding framework, policy and supporting procedures.
- Review and sign off safeguarding reconciliations and ensure discrepancies or shortfalls are investigated, funded and escalated promptly.
Candidate:
- Previous experience holding PCF-11 Head of Finance and/or PCF-56 Head of Safeguarding within a Central Bank of Ireland-authorised Payment Institution or Electronic Money Institution.
- A qualified accountant with an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
- Significant senior finance experience within a regulated financial-services firm.
- Strong experience in management and statutory reporting, external audit, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls and tax.
- Strong practical safeguarding experience within a regulated Payment Institution or Electronic Money Institution.
- Experience of regulatory reporting, capital and liquidity.
