About Taekus Taekus is building the first true luxury consumer bank, powered by vertically integrated rewards technology. We are building a modern financial institution around the way affluent consumers actually live, spend, and travel—combining banking, premium credit cards, loyalty, travel, and concierge experiences into a single ecosystem. Taekus has already built significant scale and is entering its next phase of growth. As we expand our banking products, launch our credit card platform, grow our membership base, and prepare for continued institutional growth, we are looking for a CFO who can help build the financial infrastructure and discipline required for the next stage of the company. The Role We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer who has spent significant time operating at the CFO level, including meaningful experience as a CFO within a bank or financial institution. This is not a traditional accounting-focused CFO role. The right person will be equally comfortable with financial strategy, banking economics, capital, risk, regulatory environments, board and investor management, and the day-to-day financial decisions required to operate a rapidly growing financial institution. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to build the financial foundation for Taekus' next phase—helping us understand the economics of the business, allocate capital intelligently, build scalable financial systems, and prepare the company for substantially greater scale. What You'll Own Financial Strategy & Leadership Serve as the company's senior financial leader and strategic partner to the CEO and executive team. Develop and manage Taekus' financial strategy as the company scales. Manage sophisticated financial models covering banking, payments, credit cards, rewards, travel, and other emerging revenue streams. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and long-range financial planning. Help management make informed decisions around growth, pricing, product investment, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives. Banking & Financial Institution Economics Bring deep practical knowledge of bank financial statements, balance sheets, liquidity, capital, and banking economics. Partner with banking and regulatory stakeholders to ensure Taekus' financial infrastructure and reporting are built appropriately for a growing financial institution. Help management understand and optimize the economics of deposits, payments, interchange, credit, rewards, and other financial products. Accounting, Controls & Infrastructure Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, and financial controls. Build a finance organization and infrastructure that can scale significantly beyond Taekus' current size. Establish appropriate financial controls, processes, policies, and reporting cadence. Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and decision-useful. What We're Looking For Required: 12+ years of experience serving as a CFO , with substantial time operating in the CFO seat. Prior experience as the CFO of a bank or comparable regulated financial institution is required. Deep understanding of banking and financial institution economics. Significant experience with financial planning, forecasting, accounting, treasury, capital management, and financial controls. Experience working directly with boards, investors, auditors, regulators, and financial institutions. Strong understanding of fintech, payments, banking, credit cards, or adjacent financial services. Especially Valuable: Experience with consumer banking or credit cards. Experience in a fintech, bank-fintech partnership, or technology-enabled financial institution. Experience taking a financial organization through significant growth or institutional fundraising. Why Taekus Taekus is entering an important phase of growth. We've built the foundation; now we're building the institution. You'll have the opportunity to help shape the financial infrastructure, strategy, and organization of a new category of consumer financial company while working directly with the founders and executive team. This is a chance to join early enough to have significant influence, while operating a business that already has meaningful scale and a clear path toward substantially more.
