Harmonic Executive is proud to be supporting a private equity-backed B2B software company with annual revenues in excess of €250m. Having established a market-leading platform and a loyal customer base, the business is moving into the next stage of its growth journey. Partnering closely with a seasoned CEO, the Board and the PE investors, the new CFO will have real influence over where the company goes next.

About the Opportunity

The CFO will report to the CEO and sit on the executive leadership team, taking responsibility for the finance function. This is a wide-ranging and commercially focused position. You will sharpen decision-making through insight, rigorous planning and consistent delivery, and act as the key finance counterpart to the CEO, the Board and the investor group.

What You Will Do

• Work alongside the CEO, Board and PE shareholders to help set and refine the company’s long-term strategy.
• Build, lead and develop the finance team, with a focus on sound governance, accurate reporting and operational excellence.
• Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, planning and scenario analysis to underpin well-informed decisions.
• Offer commercial perspective on investment choices, trading performance and how resources are allocated.
• Raise the standard of financial controls, systems and reporting across the business.
• Produce clear, useful management information and performance reporting for the executive team and the Board.
• Take charge of investor reporting and help drive delivery of the value creation plan.

What You Will Bring

• A strong track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in B2B SaaS or subscription software.
• Senior finance experience in a business of similar size (€250m+ in revenue), and the complexity that goes with it.
• A background working with a private equity sponsor, and the confidence to engage Boards, investors and leadership teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, and a record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience preparing a company for exit, with the credibility to engage investors and buyers through a major value-creation event.
• Exposure to a global business and its international finance operations.

Package
