Chief Go Engineer

We are looking for a Chief Go Engineer to build a next-generation AI Gateway platform that delivers secure, scalable, and governed access to LLMs and agentic workflows in a multi-tenant SaaS environment. You will own end-to-end architecture across MCP, agents, routing, security, and observability while influencing multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end architecture for an AI Gateway platform supporting MCP, agents, and multi-provider LLM integrations
• Build core gateway capabilities such as routing, governance, and observability for enterprise-grade workloads
• Define extensible MCP server frameworks and integration patterns for internal adopters
• Architect agent orchestration frameworks and reusable agent skills to standardize agentic workflows
• Design semantic caching, rate limiting, quotas, and traffic governance to control cost and performance
• Specify guardrails and validation layers that enforce safe, compliant LLM and MCP usage
• Design authentication and authorization models including OIDC flows, identity propagation, and token-based access control
• Translate product requirements into problem statements, scalable designs, and actionable technical plans
• Build prototypes and reference implementations to validate architectural choices and guide teams
• Partner with multiple teams to provide best practices, integration guidance, and adoption support
• Review designs and code to improve quality, security, scalability, and operational readiness
• Define CI/CD best practices using modern GitHub-based pipelines
• Architect Kubernetes deployment models for scalability, resiliency, and production readiness

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with principal-level scope
• Strong Go (Golang) development experience for distributed services
• Strong Python development experience for platform tooling and prototypes
• Proven platform architecture leadership across multiple product teams
• Hands-on ownership of problem definition through architecture, prototyping, and execution guidance
• Large-scale distributed systems experience with scalability and resiliency focus
• Microservices and service-oriented architecture experience in multi-tenant SaaS environments
• Strong authentication and authorization knowledge using OAuth 2.0 and OIDC flows
• AI gateway and LLM platform experience covering routing, governance, and safety controls
• Strong communication skills for cross-team alignment and actionable design feedback
• Experience translating product needs into clear architectural designs and technical roadmaps
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

• PostgreSQL design and operations experience for transactional workloads
• Redis usage for caching and distributed coordination
• Performance tuning experience for high-throughput, low-latency services
