Role Description The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) is a contract role responsible for leading all investment activities and strategies for BCA Group in alignment with the organization’s mission and growth objectives. This is a hybrid position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with flexibility for partial work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing investment strategies, overseeing portfolio construction and performance, and managing risk across asset classes. The CIO will analyze market trends, evaluate new investment opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to the leadership team. The role also involves establishing investment policies, mentoring internal teams on financial and investment matters, and preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Investment Strategies, with the ability to design and execute comprehensive, mission-aligned investment plans.
- Proven experience in Investment Management and Portfolio Management, including performance monitoring, risk management, and optimization of diversified portfolios.
- Advanced knowledge of Finance and Investments, including financial modeling, valuation, capital markets, and macroeconomic analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership in senior finance or investment roles, preferably as CIO, Head of Investments, or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with or advising entrepreneurs, high-growth businesses, or investment ecosystems in emerging markets is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a strategic mindset aligned with BCA Group’s values and long-term vision.
