We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a non-profit organization supporting underprivileged students in Vietnam.
Position Review:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Scholarship Program Officer to manage scholarship programs and student tracking in Vietnam. This is a part-time, remote role working on US time, ensuring smooth scholarship operations and accurate reporting to support our client's mission of empowering underprivileged students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the scholarship interviewing process: identify eligible students, review applications, organize interview trips, lead interviews, compile results, recommend candidates, and notify schools/students.
- Oversee scholarship distribution: verify enrollment, track grades, organize distribution trips, collect receipts, and prepare expense reports.
- Maintain the student tracking database: generate updated lists, monitor attendance, track graduation/dropout causes, and maintain graduate contact records.
- Prepare bi-annual student data reports with charts and graphs on performance, dropout rates, and trends.
- Compile digital files for each student, including interview videos, graduation photos, and personal data for program monitoring and fundraising.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
- Commitment to the organization's mission.
- Ability to work US hours.
Work Arrangment:
- Remote position.
- Approximately 20% travel between the Mekong Delta provinces and Ho Chi Minh City where the organization operates. Travel expenses are 100% sponsored by the company.
- After one year, the board will issue a performance report and decide on permanent employment status.
