UFORCE exists to make aggression unaffordable.
Founded in Ukraine and headquartered in London, UFORCE is a defence-technology company with operations across Europe, the United States and Asia.
UFORCE builds uncrewed vessels, ground robotics and aircraft, autonomy software, and the command-and-control layer that operates them together. Each platform is deployable on its own, and stronger as part of the system. Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems.
About the role
UFORCE has developed and fielded autonomous systems at exceptional speed in response to real operational demand. As we scale across products, markets, customers, and operating locations, we are looking for a Chief Product Officer to own our global product direction and act as the hands-on integrator across strategic R&D, engineering, manufacturing, operations, customers, Ukraine, and Global markets.
This is not a conventional, process-led CPO role. You will develop deep first-hand familiarity with our uncrewed systems and C2 capabilities and spend meaningful time with products, engineers, factories, customers, operators, and deployed teams. You will maintain real-time visibility across our most important product and programme activity, reconcile differing Ukraine and Global priorities, and personally intervene when critical initiatives are blocked.
You will bring clarity and speed without creating an additional layer between users and builders. You will help UFORCE decide what should remain common across markets, what should intentionally diverge, and how shared engineering and manufacturing capacity should be allocated. You will partner closely with our Hardware and Software CTOs, Manufacturing, Delivery, and commercial leaders while preserving clear functional ownership.
The role is based in London and reports directly to our CEO.
What you'll do
Own UFORCE’s product vision, strategy, portfolio direction, and product-level priorities across Ukraine and Global markets.
Develop deep, first-hand familiarity with our UxV and C2 capabilities, including their performance, limitations, maturity, configurations, technical dependencies, production constraints, customer commitments, and operational use.
Maintain a live, company-wide view of material strategic R&D, product development, customer-specific work, engineering commitments, manufacturing activity, deployments, dependencies, blockers, and accountable owners.
Act as the hands-on integrator across Product, Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Manufacturing, Delivery, Commercial, customers, and operators.
Make explicit decisions about which capabilities should be common across markets, which should intentionally diverge, and how resources should be allocated when priorities compete.
Translate operational evidence, customer opportunities, technical constraints, manufacturing realities, and commercial context into rapid product and investment decisions.
Evaluate customer-specific development based on its mission impact, strategic value, commercial logic, resource demand, reuse potential, configuration impact, and lifecycle requirements.
Connect strategic R&D to clear product intent, operational or market hypotheses, transition paths, and stopping conditions.
Establish lightweight visibility, decision, and escalation mechanisms that improve execution speed without introducing unnecessary process or reporting overhead.
Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Delivery, customers, and operators to define intended outcomes and acceptance criteria while keeping requirements development collaborative and iterative.
Improve product and programme control across hardware and software, including configuration visibility, versioning, dependencies, readiness, and lifecycle decisions.
Engage directly in relevant customer meetings, demonstrations, trials, testing, deployments, factory activity, and field operations.
Enter the detail and personally unblock priority products or programmes when execution is at risk.
Build only the minimum Product organisation required, hiring high-leverage leaders and individual contributors who strengthen technical-operational judgment and execution.
What we're looking for
Executive product leadership experience in defence technology, robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, advanced hardware, industrial technology, or another integrated hardware–software environment.
Experience owning product strategy and cross-product decisions across multiple products, platforms, markets, or operating regions.
A track record of rapidly learning technically complex products and working directly with engineers, factories, customers, operators, testing teams, deployments, or field operations.
Experience leading urgent, cross-functional programmes and resolving execution conflicts across functions, sites, or geographies.
Strong judgment in balancing common platform capabilities with deliberate customer-, mission-, or market-specific development.
The ability to make hard prioritisation and capacity decisions with incomplete information—and clearly explain what should accelerate, pause, stop, or remain separate.
Experience connecting strategic R&D, operational need, customer opportunity, technical feasibility, manufacturing capacity, and commercial value.
The technical credibility to challenge product and system assumptions without displacing Engineering’s ownership of architecture, standards, and technical delivery.
A history of partnering effectively with senior hardware, software, manufacturing, delivery, and commercial leaders.
Direct credibility with demanding customers and operators, grounded in first-hand engagement and evidence rather than reports alone.
A low-ego, highly accountable leadership style and a willingness to get into the detail when the mission requires it.
Comfort operating amid urgency, ambiguity, changing priorities, and incomplete data.
The ability to operate from CEO and board-level portfolio decisions through to detailed product and programme intervention.
Based in London or willing to relocate, with the ability to travel regularly to UFORCE engineering, manufacturing, customer, and field locations and engage meaningfully with Ukraine-related teams and priorities.
Nice to have
Experience with uncrewed systems, autonomy, command-and-control software, defence platforms, contested operations, or other mission-critical systems.
Experience reconciling product and resource priorities across countries, development sites, factories, customer environments, and markets at different levels of maturity.
Experience converting strategic R&D or customer-funded development into fielded, supported products.
Exposure to government procurement, export and regulatory constraints, interoperability requirements, and deployment into allied defence ecosystems.
Experience managing product configuration, versioning, supportability, and lifecycle complexity across integrated hardware–software systems.
Evidence of preserving rapid execution while introducing only the minimum structure required for visibility, accountability, and sound decision-making.
Experience building or upgrading a lean product organisation without turning Product into a process-heavy intermediary between users and technical teams.
The nature of combat has changed.
Tomorrow’s battlefield success depends on autonomy, speed, and adaptability.
And UFORCE is ready.
Are You?
