About the Opportunity:
We are recruiting a Chief Revenue Officer for an established, global manufacturer of ruggedized computing and advanced electronic systems serving the defense, aerospace, and space industries.
This executive will lead the company's U.S. growth strategy, expand relationships with major defense contractors, and build its sales and business development organization.
The company has a strong global presence, proven technology, and an established product portfolio. The opportunity is to significantly expand its share of the U.S. defense market through stronger business capture, strategic customer relationships, and effective sales leadership.
Requirements:
Proven leadership of a sales or business development organization selling electronic hardware directly to major U.S. defense prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, RTX/Raytheon, Boeing, Honeywell, etc.
Background with a defense electronics manufacturer or technology supplier, rather than primarily working for a defense prime contractor.
Experience selling complex electronic hardware such as rugged embedded computing, communications systems, sensors, RF technology, or related defense electronics.
Strong understanding of long-cycle defense business capture, including working with engineering teams to get products designed into military platforms.
Demonstrated success growing revenue, winning new programs, and building or leading high-performing sales teams.
Technical understanding sufficient to work with engineers, evaluate customer requirements, and guide customized hardware solutions.
Experience working within an international organization and collaborating with global engineering and leadership teams.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degree preferred).
U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling COTS and modified off-the-shelf electronic hardware into defense programs.
Established relationships with major U.S. defense prime contractors and their engineering organizations.
Experience developing manufacturer representative and distributor networks.
Background in rugged computing, embedded systems, or military-grade electronics.
Experience working with Israeli or other international defense technology companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead U.S. revenue growth, new business development, and defense program capture.
Build and lead the U.S. sales organization, including business development, technical sales, and channel partners.
Develop strategic relationships with defense prime contractors and position the company's electronic hardware for inclusion in major military platforms.
Drive both long-cycle technical business capture and product-based sales of standard and modified hardware solutions.
Work closely with engineering teams to align customer requirements with available products and technical capabilities.
Expand the company's network of independent sales representatives and distributors.
Provide U.S. market intelligence to global product development teams to help guide future technology and product roadmaps.
Establish a strong sales pipeline, improve market penetration, and deliver measurable revenue growth.
